BUSINESSES NEEDED FOR TEEN JOB FAIR

The Reno County 2020 Growth Coalition, in partnership with the Workforce Development Center at Hutchinson Community College and the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce is seeking businesses to participate in the Second Annual Reno County Teen Job Fair.

The job fair, to be held on Saturday, April 5th from 9 am to 1 pm at the new industrial technology building, will provide free booth space to any business wishing to employ Reno County teens for part-time, seasonal or year-round jobs.

Part-time or summer jobs provide great opportunities for learning important life skills and give teens a chance for hands-on experience. When businesses employ a reno county teen, they help give them a reason to consider Reno County when they are ready to join the workforce as adults.

This one-day event will attract teens from all over Reno County. Last year’s fair saw nearly 100 Reno County teens seeking employment. To reserve a spot for the job fair contact Kay Shive at the Workforce Development Center – 665-3559.
